Old Government House - Ghostly Night

 

The Governors and their households left Parramatta in 1855, but their presence still haunts Old Government House.

You are invited to come, at night, and explore this 210 year old Georgian mansion by candlelight.

The evening commences down in the cellar, where strange tales from the site's long history will be recounted. Revisit the scene of a tragic accident and witness places within the house where psychics and guides have had ghostly encounters. Reflect on your own experiences over supper and wine in this splendid vice-regal residence.

Supper includes chicken or egg sandwiches, scones, homemade slices, wine, tea, coffee and tea.

Ghost Nights have been running consistently over the past 13 years. The tours have proved to be very popular with many people returning and bringing family, friends and acquaintances. They are very popular with groups, such as Social Clubs, Car Clubs, etc. Many of our visitors have experienced 'vibes' and enjoy recounting their stories.
