Discover National Trust Gardens is a joint initiative with NSW Seniors Week (11 – 18 March 2007). It links the NSW Seniors Week theme of ‘Live Life’ with the Heritage Festival ‘Places in Context: Natural and Cultural Landscapes’.

The gardens tours taking place during the festival will allow seniors and members of the public to explore the heritage gardens of Australia, places that have been part of our landscape for years. Seniors will be allowed into all participating gardens free of charge.

With so many issues of sustainability in the world today, we hope that these beautiful places will inspire people to preserve our green spaces, as well as allowing everyone to experience the beauty of Australian plant life that is so much of our culture and what makes Australia unique.
