Sketching Observatory Hill
Friday 18 April 1pm - 3.30pm
This drawing workshop is suitable for children aged 7-14
years.
This popular plein air workshop is designed to encourage
creativity and observational drawing skills. Inspired by
the 360 degree view from Observatory Hill Park, this
drawing workshop is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the
great outdoors while learning elements of perspective,
composition and objectivity. Children will create their own
drawings investigating the built and natural environment
of the Rocks and Sydney Harbour from this spectacular
elevated location. They will explore different mark-making
techniques and experiment with various drawing materials.
The group will meet in the Annie Wyatt Room (National
Trust Centre) at 1pm. Places limited, cost includes materials
and tuition.
Bookings: Essential
Cost: $33 / National Trust Members $30
