The Wollemi Pine:
Grow the ultimate Historic Tree!
Celebrate the Heritage Festival’s focus
on our natural landscape by acquiring
your own piece of natural history - The
Wollemi Pine. This Jurassic-era tree
was thought to be extinct until it was
discovered in 1994 by a NSW National
Parks ranger in a remote rainforest
canyon in Sydney’s Blue Mountains.
With less than 100 trees remaining, the Wollemi Pine has been
propagated as part of a unique conservation strategy and is
now available Australia-wide with royalties from sales funding
the ongoing conservation of the rare and threatened species in
the wild. As a special offer to customers during the Heritage
Festival, 10% of all sales will be donated to the National Trust of
Australia (NSW) and a complimentary DVD will be included with
all orders. All plants also come with a detailed care booklet and
certificate of authenticity. Offer ends 31 March.
