Sketching the landscape: drawing plein air
Friday 17 April 1 – 3 pm

This plein air workshop is designed to encourage creativity and observational drawing skills. Inspired by the 360 degree view from Observatory Hill, this drawing workshop is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors while learning elements of perspective, composition and objectivity. Children will create their own drawings investigating the built and natural environment. Students
will explore different mark making techniques and experiment with various drawing materials. Group will meet art teacher in the Annie Wyatt room (National Trust Centre) at 1pm. Places limited, cost includes materials and tuition.
