Our Partner in Trust: Regular Giving programme is a simple but highly effective way of providing for vital, ongoing work, such as maintenance of properties and collections, the development of educational programmes and resources and lobbying to protect our heritage.
The National Trust is the only charity in Australia
committed to the conservation of our unique
built, cultural and natural heritage. Our nation
is relatively new, but its stories of survival,
exploration, growth and achievement are no less special for that. It is vital that they be protected,
understood and celebrated, as an intrinsic part
of who we are today. In comparison, our land is
among the oldest on earth. Its fragile ecosystems
are vulnerable to change, as are its plants
and animals. We must safeguard our natural
environment and its species from unsustainable
change, and conserve precious natural resources
wherever we can.
Our work focuses on advocating to protect heritage of all kinds from harm, conserving and maintaining nationally significant properties and collections so that they can be accessed and enjoyed by everyone, while developing educational programmes which inspire people of all ages to value heritage and contribute to its care.
To join the programme, you simply arrange to make a monthly donation of your choice, using your credit card or by direct debit. This will be processed on or after the 15th day of each month, for as long as you wish. Regular Giving makes donating as simple as possible for you, and helps us to reduce the costs of administration.
We will send you a letter to thank you and confirm details regarding your gift. Every July, we will send you a tax deductible receipt for all donations made during the previous financial year. We will also send you regular updates on how our work is progressing.
