National Trust Heritage Awards 2012

The National Trust of Australia (NSW) announced the winners of the 2012 NSW Heritage Awards on Monday 23 April at a luncheon attended by Minister for Heritage The Hon. Robyn Parker MP. This year 14 awards were given for exceptional conservation and heritage projects throughout NSW.

AWARD CATEGORIES AND WINNERS

CONSERVATION
For projects that relate to conservation of our built heritage, including capital works and repair. Such projects may
include buildings, structures or sites, urban precincts, commercial items, churches, houses, interiors, additions, infill
or collections. This category also includes entries for domestic or public gardens and parks.

Environmental contribution made by the project in built, natural or moveable heritage area.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award goes to individuals or organizations whose body of work has sustained or furthered the reach of
heritage conservation, where projects have had a profound effect on our built, cultural of environmental heritage.
The jury was unanimous in their decision to recognize Sharon Sullivan for her outstanding contribution to heritage.
