Established in 1976, the Workshop boasts an international reputation for the freshness, vitality and technical excellence of its hand-woven tapestries. Unique to the workshop is that the skilled weavers are also trained artists. Their sensitivity to the visual aspects of the medium, together with their technical expertise, enables the weavers to form a special collaboration with the artists whose designs they translate. This travelling exhibition showcases tapestry works by Australia’s leading artists including Angela Brennan, Mike Brown, Jon Cattapan, Alun Leach-Jones, Reg Mombassa, Gareth Sansom and Martin Sharp.

A series of guest talks will be presented at the Gallery’s Public Program every Sunday at 3pm.
